By participating in the Social Media 8/11 Day Giveaway, participants consent to the following rules and conditions set forth by Alabama 811.
No purchase necessary to enter into the giveaway and win. Seven (7) winners will be selected at random to win one (1) prize each. No repeat winners will be selected. Participant(s) must be 18 years or older and live in the Continental United States to enter. (Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from this giveaway).
There are 3 ways to enter the Giveaway.
By completing the above requirements, participants will be rewarded one entry per social media channel (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) Participants can submit up to 3 entries total.
Any participant(s) who does not fulfill the complete requirements to enter will be disqualified from the giveaway. Alabama 811 is not responsible for any technical difficulties related to the 811 Day Social Media Giveaway.
DURATION:
The 811-Day Social Media Giveaway entry period will begin on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 7:00 AM CST. Participants will have 11 days to enter the Giveaway. The Giveaway entry period will end on Thursday, August 11th at 11:59 PM CST. Any entries made after the specified end date of the giveaway will be disqualified.
PRIZES:
One Prize will be awarded to one participant. No repeat winners. Prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, exchanged for other prizes, or combined with any other offers.
All prizes will be shipped directly to the Winner’s provided shipping address Alabama 811 will pay for the cost or standard shipping provided by each shipping provider. Alabama 811 is not responsible for any damage, delay, unforeseen costs, or failure to deliver items. Any issues arising from shipping or items will need to be handled directly with the Delivery company or service used to ship items. Alabama 811 is not responsible for incorrect or invalid shipping addresses. In the event that a shipping address is incorrect or needs to be changed, the Winner will pay the additional cost for shipping the item to the corrected and/or updated shipping address.
SELECTION OF WINNERS:
Once the 811 Day Social Media Giveaway entry period has ended, Alabama 811 will collect all eligible entries and select seven (7) participants at random. Participants will be selected from eligible entries on Alabama 811’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter 811 Day Social Media Giveaway posts/tweets. The winners will be announced by being tagged on Alabama 811’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter stories when applicable. Winners will also be sent a Direct Message on the applicable Social Media Channel and notified about their prize. If a winner is selected from one of Alabama 811’s Social Media Channels, all other entries from that participant across Alabama 811’s remaining Social Media Channels will be excluded in future drawings for a winner. If a participant has not completed all of the required rules for entry, they will be disqualified and another participant will be selected.
Winners will be announced on Friday, August 12th, 2022 by 5 PM CST.
In order to redeem a prize, Winners will need to provide a valid shipping address within the Continental United States (Alaska and Hawaii are excluded from this giveaway). If a participant fails to provide a valid shipping address within 24 hours of being notified about the prize, they wil1 be disqualified from the Giveaway and another Participant will be selected at random.
